After an extened, and honestly much needed break, I returned to the street yesterday at the 31st Ave Open Street Maker Fair. It was an incredible day with perfect weather and two full blocks packed with over 50 local artists, crafters, and chefs! I made some new friends. I bought a few items from other vendors including handmade soap, a sticker, an enamel pin, a cat toy, and a lovely piece of pottery. I was also fortunate enough to have a record-breaking day of my own with seven original works finding their way to new homes. Time to make some new art!
I will be back at the 31st Ave Open Street fair on Sunday July 9th, confirmed, and if a spot opens up in the June market, I'll announce here and in my Instagram stories. In the meantime, I will be returning to Union Square on a semi regular basis. There are some life things in flux right now so I'm unable to set a regular schedule, but I'll always post to my Instagram stories when I'm there.
My Etsy store is quietly open now as well. I only have a couple of listings, but I'm adding to it little by little. I'll make a multi platform announcement when the store is fully stocked and ready to officially open. I should add for full disclosure, it's always better to avoid the fee-gouging middleman and purchase from me in person directly if you're local. I offer free delivery in Manhattan, as well as select (read: easily accessible by transit) areas of Queens and Brooklyn for purchases of any amount.
Happy Mother's Day to my amazing Mom and mothers of all types and variations! I'm going to treat myself with a nap!
